The purpose of this group is to promote the ancient art of rug weaving in the greater NY area. If you are an arts & crafts lover, this another medium you will simply love to work in. However, unlike knitting or other crafts, there is nowhere in Manhattan to learn the secrets of rug weaving...until NOW! We are starting off with beginner's workshops with the hopes of creating a future weaving circle. Come and enjoy a cup of Turkish coffee with us!
